When Iguazú FC's Teo Blasi in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Braulio Sandaili was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Iguazú FC booed when Chinchinales AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Frederico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felix Frederico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Joel Norino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Herminio Brais to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Nemesio Lizardi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Iguazú FC and the Chinchinales AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Chinchinales AFC booed when Iguazú FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nemesio Lizardi didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herminio Brais in the 53rd minute of play forced Iguazú FC's goalkeeper Joel Norino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Iguazú FC's goalkeeper Joel Norino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 65th match minute, Iguazú FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adan Millan to maneuver through the defense. Chinchinales AFC's Braulio Sandaili proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Chinchinales AFC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Chinchinales AFC booed when Iguazú FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adan Millan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Herminio Brais recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Francisco Gerazan was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 82nd minute. Iguazú FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Herminio Brais might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joel Norino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Herminio Brais ran back to his position shaking his head. When Chinchinales AFC's Felix Frederico in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Iguazú FC's goalie prevented a goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
