Celestino Hondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Roldan having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Guzmán FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Cresenciano came free, but Patricio Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paolo Benvido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Patricio Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute Abel Cresenciano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Cresenciano in the 36th minute of play forced Guzmán FC's goalkeeper Patricio Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abel Cresenciano struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Patricio Marques didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Elertondo. Abel Cresenciano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joaquin Emesto during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Guzmán FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Joaquin Emesto hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Abel Cresenciano made the kick off in the second half. Patricio Marques made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paolo Benvido in the 55th minute. Abel Cresenciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
