The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Victor Menendo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Omero in the 3rd minute of the match. Felix Bautista hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Victor Menendo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 7th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. 11 minutes in the game, Rigoberto Musko fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Victor Menendo having to interfere. After some careless play in the Mártires defense, Augusto Omero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victor Menendo. The Mártires fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victor Menendo should have stopped the shot. Augusto Omero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Victor Menendo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute Augusto Omero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Menendo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amador Vellito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ambrosio Llorian in the 28th minute of the match. Victor Menendo made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Rigoberto Musko sent off a good shot on target. If Diego Normando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Yuto getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Marcelo Gonsalvo hit a great ball. Ambrosio Llorian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amador Vellito having to interfere. Diego Normando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Amador Vellito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Marcelo Gonsalvo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute of the match Saul Iraunkor shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amador Vellito showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 49 minutes into the match, Mártires's Diego Normando sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amador Vellito narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Augusto Omero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rigoberto Musko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Menendo having to interfere. Mártires's Victor Menendo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Omero in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mártires's Zacarias Rubio got a free kick in the 55th minute. Augusto Omero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Victor Menendo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rigoberto Musko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rigoberto Musko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Augusto Omero came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Yuto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Omero couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Mártires's Anibal Peru got a free kick in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Omero in the 69th minute of play forced Mártires's goalkeeper Victor Menendo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amador Vellito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Normando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mártires's Victor Menendo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Omero in the 72nd minute of play. After 73 minutes, Rogelio Selatse mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yuto and the Mártires players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 73 played minutes Yuto got a freekick which was hit by Rogelio Selatse. In the 76th minute, Zacarias Rubio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amador Vellito was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. If Ambrosio Llorian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 82 minutes of play Yuto's Rogelio Selatse was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Mártires booed when Yuto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogelio Selatse didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 92 played minutes Mártires got a freekick which was hit by Fidel Frederico. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mártires's goalkeeper Victor Menendo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Victor Menendo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigoberto Musko in the 95th minute of play. There was no doubt that Yuto were the better team. Yuto's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
