When Natalio Tuste fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pichaihué's protests and gave Natalio Tuste a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd match minute, Pichaihué was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natalio Tuste to maneuver through the defense. Sebastian Urritz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Rafe having to interfere. The Perrugorría FC fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when Perrugorría FC's Carolo Emmanuel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Generoso Celipe to make the kick off. Anselmo Haritz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Generoso Celipe in the 79th minute of play. Carolo Emmanuel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Haritz having to interfere. Francisco Santo hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anibal Handi during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Perrugorría FC's Anibal Handi got a free kick in the 88th minute. Francisco Gonzo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 89th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.
