Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sebastian Urritz took the kick off in the first half of the match. 8 minutes into the game, Hugo Ugutz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arerunguá's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pichaihué the free kick. Hugo Ugutz hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Denis Gitano was a little too slow when Francisco Santo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 19th minute, Hugo Ugutz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Enrique Fix hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Arerunguá's Denis Gitano got control of the ball when Francisco Santo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Francisco Gonzo charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francisco Gonzo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 26 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. A collision led to Pichaihué getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Cosme Iigo hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luis Fonso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Honorio Arixo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arerunguá's supporters rose to their feet, but Honorio Arixo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anselmo Haritz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luis Fonso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Haritz having to interfere. Luis Fonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
