The crowd rose to their feet as Jairo Herrera kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Freddy Rafe. That made the score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the game, Jairo Herrera recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Freddy Rafe. Jairo Herrera showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

53 minutes into the match, Edelmiro Saturnin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Freddy Rafe. Perrugorría FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edelmiro Saturnin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Godofredo Felipillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Generoso Celipe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adrian Boniel hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. When Anibal Handi fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. After 80 played minutes, Perrugorría FC's Arsenio Calvino shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Godofredo Felipillo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Perrugorría FC reached it. Generoso Celipe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Godofredo Felipillo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Generoso Celipe's shot from short distance in the 87th minute.
