Ariel Jerico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Ledesma in the 4th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Teofilo Jerrald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernabe Marko was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Eloy Tabb. If Luciano Lleir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luciano Lleir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 27 played minutes Emiliano Loi rounded Chalanta FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. When Segundo Cai fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Canquel FC's protests and gave Segundo Cai a yellow card for diving instead. Segundo Cai hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Ariel Jerico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleto Fernendo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the game, Alfonso Oihan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Canquel FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chalanta FC the free kick. In the 37th match minute, Canquel FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso Oihan to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Chalanta FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Rogelio Montes hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Chalanta FC's zone, Luciano Lleir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernabe Marko came out of the goal and Luciano Lleir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chalanta FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Emiliano Loi 46 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After having played for 54 minutes, Cleto Fernendo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chalanta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cleto Fernendo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 60 minutes into the match, Teofilo Jerrald had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ariel Jerico. Canquel FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teofilo Jerrald was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 63rd minute, Canquel FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tobias Ledesma fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 68th minute of the match Cristo Venerando sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernabe Marko skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Chalanta FC's Federico Gaitano got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Canquel FC's Emiliano Loi got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Federico Gaitano hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the match, Chalanta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Loi came free, but Bernabe Marko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luciano Lleir might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernabe Marko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luciano Lleir ran back to his position shaking his head. Emiliano Loi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernabe Marko having to interfere. The supporters of Canquel FC booed when Chalanta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Jerrald didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th match minute, Chalanta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofilo Jerrald to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute, Emiliano Loi made a precise shot to the right of Bernabe Marko. Chalanta FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Canquel FC had won after a very even match.
