The referee showed Christian James the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samuel Rioja in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabricio Amato saved Esquiú from getting behind. Fabricio Amato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Birjaio in the 66th minute of play. When Celedonio Chus fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Esquiú's protests and gave Celedonio Chus a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th minute, Celedonio Chus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
