Guillermo Birjaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artemio Sein having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Flavio Abastas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abelardo Garoa during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alumbrera FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
