In the 5th minute, Aureliano Casomiro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Denis Quintana. The goal made the score 1-0. Metileo AFC's Denis Quintana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Metileo AFC from getting a goal against them. Aureliano Casomiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Quintana having to interfere. 14 minutes into the game, Florentino Mano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Denis Quintana. Florentino Mano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After some careless play in the Aberastain AFC defense, Constantino Dunixi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abelardo Monte. The Aberastain AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abelardo Monte should have stopped the shot. In the 22nd minute Jeronimo Su suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 22 minutes into the game, Americo Ubelteso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aberastain AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Metileo AFC the free kick. Americo Ubelteso hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Aberastain AFC's Abelardo Monte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantino Dunixi in the 30th minute of play. Denis Quintana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Casomiro in the 40th minute of play. Florentino Mano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Quintana having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Constantino Dunixi made the kick off in the second half. When Haroldo Rumaldo came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Metileo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haroldo Rumaldo couldn't finish the play. In the 58th minute, Constantino Dunixi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Victoriano Taurino fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aberastain AFC's protests and gave Victoriano Taurino a yellow card for diving instead. When the match had been going on for 63 minutes, Metileo AFC's Sergio Henry got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Abelardo Monte. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Casomiro in the 67th minute of play forced Metileo AFC's goalkeeper Denis Quintana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Aureliano Casomiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute Aureliano Casomiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Quintana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Narciso Louis hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Denis Quintana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Casomiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The supporters of Aberastain AFC booed when Metileo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anastasio Madaleno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Constantino Dunixi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Monte having to interfere. The Aberastain AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Metileo AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
