Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Arnulfo Faron started the match with the kick off. Eriberto Isusko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Quinton in the 3rd minute of the match. Arnulfo Faron recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wilfredo Egoitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Isusko having to interfere. Martin Romildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnulfo Faron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martin Romildo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnulfo Faron in the 26th minute of the match. Borghi AFC's Eriberto Isusko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Egoitz in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Javiero in the 33rd minute of play forced Quitilipi's goalkeeper Martin Romildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eriberto Isusko made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Gogo Rufo sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Borghi AFC's Benigno Isaio got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 42nd minute of the match Quitilipi got a corner. Borghi AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Salvador Egoitz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Salvador Egoitz made a great header on Quitilipi's corner, it was just that Borghi AFC's Eriberto Isusko managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 45th minute, Gogo Rufo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Borghi AFC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Benigno Isaio hit a great ball. After 49 minutes Borghi AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Salvador Egoitz who took care of the corner kick. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wilfredo Egoitz to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Gogo Rufo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Quitilipi's zone, Clemente Javiero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Romildo came out of the goal and Clemente Javiero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Clemente Javiero scored 0-1 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Martin Romildo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Arnulfo Faron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the match, Quitilipi's Wilfredo Egoitz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eriberto Isusko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnulfo Faron in the 73rd minute of play forced Quitilipi's goalkeeper Martin Romildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Quitilipi's Benito Quinton got a free kick in the 74th minute. Martin Romildo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnulfo Faron in the 77th minute of the match. Martin Romildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Faron in the 83rd minute of play. The supporters of Quitilipi booed when Borghi AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo Galsino didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes had been played when some careless play by Borghi AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Salvador Egoitz was slow to take the kick. During this time Quitilipi's players had a chance to rest. Martin Romildo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnulfo Faron in the 99th minute of the match. The Borghi AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Borghi AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
