After 34 minutes, Nunez Mendebal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tiomayo and the Olivia AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nunez Mendebal hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Alfredo Beltxe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Fernendo in the 36th minute of play. Higinio Meder hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Hernan Iraunkor might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over German Ugaitz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hernan Iraunkor ran back to his position shaking his head. Alfredo Beltxe made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Eliseo Aztore sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emanuel Fernendo was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th match minute, Tiomayo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustaquio Ofelio to maneuver through the defense. Gualterio Vellito didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the game, Olivia AFC's Emanuel Fernendo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfredo Beltxe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Olivia AFC's Eliseo Aztore got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olivia AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
