Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Donato Tabb got the match started through his kick off. After 4 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Luján! Isidoro Haitz placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Hipolito Tono recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Donato Tabb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Lucas Orlondon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucas Orlondon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Urbasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. When Donato Tabb came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Luján fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donato Tabb couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Pigüé AFC's Humberto Valery got a free kick in the 28th minute. Pigüé AFC's Gregorio Urtats got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Celedonio Rio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigio Rodriguez having to interfere. Humberto Valery kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. If Gregorio Urtats had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Luján's Santo Bilbo got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Lucas Orlondon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Tabb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When Pigüé AFC's Gregorio Urtats in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Luján's goalie prevented a goal. 60 minutes into the match, Pigüé AFC's goalkeeper Lucas Orlondon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Simon Urbasa. After 63 played minutes Luján got a freekick which was hit by Hipolito Tono. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Celedonio Rio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pigüé AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Celedonio Rio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remigio Rodriguez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Celedonio Rio came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Pigüé AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celedonio Rio couldn't finish the play. Gregorio Urtats blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Remigio Rodriguez having to make a save. Lucas Orlondon had great luck who in the 74thth minute grab hold of the ball when Donato Tabb from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Gregorio Urtats fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigio Rodriguez having to interfere. Gregorio Urtats recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Pigüé AFC booed when Luján was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anibal Palban didn't get a good kick on the ball. Remigio Rodriguez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Haitz in the 88th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the game, Rafael Ramone cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Remigio Rodriguez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Severo Vidal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Luján's supporters rose to their feet, but Severo Vidal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucas Orlondon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Luján players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pigüé AFC.
