Denis Criston made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benigno Eneto in the 9th minute. After a rather tough play, Hortensia FC's Aurelio Sancho got a free kick in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Formerio in the 16th minute of play forced Hortensia FC's goalkeeper Denis Criston to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Silvestre Inko almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hortensia FC's Denis Criston did a great save. The audience was convinced that Severiano Formerio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Denis Criston was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Benigno Eneto took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Denis Criston. Denis Criston dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 35th minute Eulalio Tohias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Rosalio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denis Criston made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Benigno Eneto sent off a good shot on target. Denis Criston was a little too slow when Benigno Eneto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 2-0. Benigno Eneto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Eulalio Tohias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hortensia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eulalio Tohias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvestre Rosalio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Simbolar AFC's Benigno Eneto got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Severiano Formerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Criston having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Hortensia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benigno Eneto came free, but Denis Criston reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute Victoriano Gaxan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Rosalio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvestre Rosalio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victoriano Gaxan, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute, Daniel Pelayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eulalio Tohias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Silvestre Rosalio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denis Criston made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severiano Formerio in the 81st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Victoriano Gaxan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hortensia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Victoriano Gaxan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvestre Rosalio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Hortensia FC booed when Simbolar AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geronimo Elequemedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 91 played minutes, Hortensia FC's Eustaquio Leocadio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Silvestre Rosalio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hortensia FC reached it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Hortensia FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Simbolar AFC.
