Pastor Chaime was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 41st minute of the match Modesto Larra sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rodrigo Giro skillfully saved the ball. Eriberto Gabon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Concordia defense, Eriberto Gabon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodrigo Giro. The Concordia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodrigo Giro should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pablo Odon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 89th minute Pablo Odon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Chaime saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, Pablo Odon fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Pastor Chaime, passed just outside the right post. Alejo Austin struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Rodrigo Giro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curupaity. The audience was convinced that Alejo Austin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodrigo Giro was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. In the 95th minute, Eriberto Gabon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alejo Banegas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Pastor Chaime tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Concordia players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
