After a rather tough play, Gastona's Teodoro Tiniebra got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 8th minute, Guaberto Shantala made a precise shot to the right of Denis Beti. Gastona's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Gastona's Nicanor Luar pulled a muscle in his back after 10 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Federico Venerando fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rosario's protests and gave Federico Venerando a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Gastona booed when Rosario was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Venerando didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 14 in the game by Guaberto Shantala from a close distance when the talented Denis Beti managed to make a qualified save. Gastona's players were relieved. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guaberto Shantala got free with Denis Beti in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guaberto Shantala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Denis Beti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filiberto Pere succeeded in the game's 22nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. After 28 played minutes Gastona got a freekick which was hit by Simon Nuxila. Guaberto Shantala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Beti having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filiberto Pere in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Denis Beti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Benigno Sotero came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Gastona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benigno Sotero couldn't finish the play. In the 38th play minute Guaberto Shantala came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Denis Beti. 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Guaberto Shantala managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rosario's supporters rose to their feet, but Guaberto Shantala was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denis Beti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Filiberto Pere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guaberto Shantala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Beti having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Filiberto Pere made the kick off in the second half. Rosario's Adriana Ricart proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Rosario from getting a goal against them. In the 58th minute, one of Gastona:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gastona. Denis Beti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guaberto Shantala in the 64th minute of play. After 66 played minutes Gastona got a freekick which was hit by Godofredo Sidoro. After having played for 76 minutes, Guaberto Shantala managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rosario's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guaberto Shantala was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 77th minute Filiberto Pere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Beti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evelio Mino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Adriana Ricart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denis Beti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustacio Jobo in the 81st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filiberto Pere in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Denis Beti saved Gastona from getting behind. Rosario's Saturnino Mateo suffered a concussion after 85 minutes and had to leave the field. In the 87th match minute, Gastona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godofredo Sidoro to maneuver through the defense. Denis Beti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guaberto Shantala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Gastona getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Evelio Mino hit a great ball. Rosario's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
