Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Godfredo Meder took the kick off in the first half of the match. Godfredo Meder struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Julio Donostia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Correntoso. If Narciso Benet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Godfredo Meder came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Correntoso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Godfredo Meder couldn't finish the play. If Narciso Benet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Narciso Benet took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Donostia. Julio Donostia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 18th minute, Ubaldo Salvidor reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lisandro Muno. The goal made the score 1-1. 22 minutes into the match, Sañogasta's goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Benet came free, but Julio Donostia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Donostia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godfredo Meder in the 25th minute of the match. In the 31st minute Ubaldo Salvidor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lisandro Muno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Donostia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Benet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Godfredo Meder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Donostia having to interfere. Silverio Benat kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th minute of the match Angel Mergildo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Donostia skillfully saved the ball. In the 39th minute, Narciso Benet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Reynaldo Naike sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ubaldo Salvidor made a kick off. Narciso Benet struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Julio Donostia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Correntoso. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Godfredo Meder managed to get in a good position for a shot. Correntoso's supporters rose to their feet, but Godfredo Meder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Donostia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 60th minute Godfredo Meder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Donostia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ubaldo Salvidor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lisandro Muno having to interfere. The supporters of Correntoso booed when Sañogasta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermegildo Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angel Mergildo, 65 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 67th minute Ubaldo Salvidor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lisandro Muno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ubaldo Salvidor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Godfredo Meder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Julio Donostia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 74 played minutes Correntoso got a freekick which was hit by Angel Mergildo. When Severino Foro fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sañogasta's protests and gave Severino Foro a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Correntoso's zone, Reynaldo Naike stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lisandro Muno came out of the goal and Reynaldo Naike tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sañogasta's Ubaldo Salvidor got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Correntoso's goalkeeper Lisandro Muno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Sañogasta support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
