Naranjito AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alhuampa AFC the free kick. After 23 played minutes Naranjito AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ermegildo Cristofol. Hernan Beliran was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wilfredo Etxahun showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 25 minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Ermegildo Cristofol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Adan Urdin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hector Larra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. In the 42nd minute, Ermegildo Cristofol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Hernan Beliran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Etxahun, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 51st minute, Wilfredo Etxahun made a precise shot to the right of Hernan Beliran. Naranjito AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Vicente Baladi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Hernan Beliran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilfredo Etxahun in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hernan Beliran saved Naranjito AFC from getting behind. Natalio Odol kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After 87 played minutes Naranjito AFC got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Gabino. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Ermegildo Cristofol took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Adan Urdin to make any attempt to save it. 96 minutes into the match, Alhuampa AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Cristofol came free, but Adan Urdin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
