Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) 5 minutes into the match, Polvareda's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Goito came free, but Dante Herrera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Herrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Medardo in the 11th minute of play. Dante Herrera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victoriano Serafo, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute of the match Palmitas FC got a corner. Polvareda's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Florencio Quiroga ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Florencio Quiroga almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Polvareda's Dante Herrera did a great save. After having played for 16 minutes, Rene Artaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Polvareda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rene Artaldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18th minute, Nemesio Perez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victoriano Serafo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Herrera having to make a save. Dante Herrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Goito in the 31st minute of play. Dante Herrera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aureliano Goito went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 33rd match minute, Palmitas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ambrosio Jerrold to maneuver through the defense. In the 34thth minute of the game Rene Artaldo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palmitas FC's Elias Leoncio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Palmitas FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Ambrosio Jerrold hit a great ball. Oscar Urtsin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oscar Urtsin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elias Leoncio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Polvareda's zone, Victoriano Serafo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Herrera came out of the goal and Victoriano Serafo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Polvareda players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Palmitas FC were winning 0-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rene Artaldo was the one to do the kick off. Aureliano Goito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Herrera having to interfere. Palmitas FC's Victoriano Serafo got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Polvareda's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Victoriano Serafo scored to the left of an out of position Dante Herrera, making the score, 0-2. After 66 played minutes Palmitas FC got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosio Jerrold. In the 72nd minute, Victoriano Serafo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Dante Herrera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Goito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aureliano Goito scored 0-3 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Herrera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 79 minutes into the match, Oscar Urtsin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elias Leoncio. Palmitas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oscar Urtsin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. A collision led to Polvareda getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Christian Otoniel hit a great ball. After 83 played minutes Polvareda got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Perez. Aureliano Goito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilfredo Flores's late challenge caught a Palmitas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilfredo Flores helped the player get up and apologised. In the 90th minute, Wilfredo Flores hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Palmitas FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
