After a defensive mix-up in Constituyentes AFC's zone, Matias Precioso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aquiles Maura came out of the goal and Matias Precioso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Redondo booed when Constituyentes AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eriberto Amaya didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zeledon Valiente to strike the kick off in the second half. Desiderio Teyo in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Emilio Innocenzio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Constituyentes AFC's Aquiles Maura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Precioso in the 59th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Desiderio Teyo got free with Emilio Innocenzio in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 82ndth minute of the game Zeledon Valiente who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Redondo's Emilio Innocenzio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
