Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Benito Sesuldo started the match with the kick off. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Benito Sesuldo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Lucio Lon to make any attempt to save it. When Ñacuñán AFC's Delmar Licerio in 9 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Cayetano Rios guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After 16 played minutes Ñacuñán AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ruperto Sol. After 20 minutes, Rigoberto Berasko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ñacuñán AFC and the Palmar FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 20th match minute, Ñacuñán AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Berasko to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute Benito Sesuldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucio Lon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Ñacuñán AFC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Victoriano Tomi hit a great ball. Patricio Lawrence kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Cayetano Rios stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Delmar Licerio's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Leonardo Olentzaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cayetano Rios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmar Licerio in the 35th minute of play. After 36 played minutes Ñacuñán AFC got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Licerio. Lucio Lon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cornelio Satordi went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Delmar Licerio took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cayetano Rios. Cayetano Rios dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Delmar Licerio to make the kick off. Lucio Lon came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Palmar FC's Benito Sesuldo. But to his dismay, Benito Sesuldo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. After 66 played minutes Palmar FC got a freekick which was hit by Juan Urbasa. Leonardo Olentzaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Cayetano Rios made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patricio Lawrence during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 71st match minute, Ñacuñán AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Lawrence to maneuver through the defense. If Leonardo Olentzaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Delmar Licerio fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Cayetano Rios, passed just outside the right post. If Delmar Licerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Leonardo Olentzaro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cayetano Rios. That made the score 4-2 in the 85 minute of play. Lorenzo Tiadoro hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Cornelio Satordi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Lucio Lon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Ñacuñán AFC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Rigoberto Berasko hit a great ball. Benito Sesuldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. An unexpected shot in the 98th minute by Leonardo Olentzaro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Palmar FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ñacuñán AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
