Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Delgado's Saverio Bermund started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute Saverio Bermund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Admon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 9 minutes, Nestor Favila made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Delgado's Maximo Rumaldo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristo Filipo during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee showed Delmar Enol the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Humahuaca's Delmar Enol got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute of the match, Saverio Bermund tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Armando Admon saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Saverio Bermund took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Armando Admon to make any attempt to save it. Saverio Bermund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Armando Admon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leon Ihintza to make the kick off. Nestor Favila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Rumaldo having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Delgado's Saverio Bermund sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armando Admon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Humahuaca getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Esteve Oton hit a great ball. After 62 played minutes Humahuaca got a freekick which was hit by Esteve Oton. Armando Admon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Hustaz in the 65th minute of the match. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Humahuaca's Leon Ihintza in the 68th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Maximo Rumaldo was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Delgado through an amazing save. Felipe Hustaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Admon having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Felipe Hustaz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armando Admon was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. If Felipe Hustaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saverio Bermund might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armando Admon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Saverio Bermund ran back to his position shaking his head. Felipe Hustaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Admon having to interfere. After having played for 89 minutes, Saverio Bermund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Delgado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saverio Bermund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 93 minutes, Maximo Rumaldo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Delgado fans cheered their team off the field, for while Humahuaca had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
