Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Saverio Bermund started the match with the kick off. Maximo Rumaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andres Gombal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mauricio Seguinus's late challenge caught a Alhuampa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mauricio Seguinus helped the player get up and apologised. Delgado's Christian Hustaz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Donato Lobo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Andres Gombal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edgard Selatse took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maximo Rumaldo. Maximo Rumaldo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Andres Gombal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eleuterio Raitin's late challenge caught a Alhuampa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eleuterio Raitin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25thth minute of the game Edgard Selatse who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Delgado's Maximo Rumaldo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 29 minutes, Geronimo Tirso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alhuampa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geronimo Tirso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Edgard Selatse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Delgado's Emilio Oro got a free kick in the 30th minute. Andres Gombal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Maximo Rumaldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zeledon Tauro charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zeledon Tauro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 38th match minute, Alhuampa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeledon Tauro to maneuver through the defense. Maximo Rumaldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Selatse, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgard Selatse to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Delgado's Emilio Oro got a free kick in the 54th minute. Felipe Hustaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgard Selatse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Rumaldo having to interfere. Maximo Rumaldo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edgard Selatse showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 62 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Delgado's Christian Hustaz got a free kick in the 70th minute. Andres Gombal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Rumaldo having to interfere. After 83 played minutes, Alhuampa's Amador Gaspard shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Maximo Rumaldo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Alhuampa reached it. If Andres Gombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Alhuampa's Edgard Selatse in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Delgado's goalie prevented a goal. When Emilio Oro fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Delgado's protests and gave Emilio Oro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th minute, Emilio Oro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximo Rumaldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andres Gombal in the 93rd minute. When the final whistle sounded Alhuampa left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Delgado.
