The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dionisio Abel in the 8th minute of play forced Conchitas AFC's goalkeeper Edelmiro Clis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacinto Argenis during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 8th match minute, Conchitas AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Argenis to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute, Dionisio Abel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Esteve Paio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Horacio Eduino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Lucian in the 21st minute of the match. Horacio Eduino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafael Inocente in the 25th minute. 30 minutes into the game, Tala's Esteve Paio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edelmiro Clis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 33 played minutes Conchitas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Casimiro Taurino. Horacio Eduino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Lucian in the 36th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the game, Fermin Poncio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tala's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Conchitas AFC the free kick. The supporters of Conchitas AFC booed when Tala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fermin Poncio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafael Inocente blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Horacio Eduino having to make a save. After some careless play in the Conchitas AFC defense, Esteve Paio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edelmiro Clis. The Conchitas AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edelmiro Clis should have stopped the shot. Andres Giro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Horacio Eduino. Tala's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dionisio Abel was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Tala booed when Conchitas AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andres Giro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fermin Poncio was shown his second yellow card after 54 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Tala's Segundo Gumaro got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute, Eriberto Jayvier sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tala's Horacio Eduino didn't even have to move. Raul Lucian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Horacio Eduino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esteve Paio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Clis having to interfere. Horacio Eduino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rafael Inocente went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Casimiro Taurino hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute, Raul Lucian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Raul Lucian came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Conchitas AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raul Lucian couldn't finish the play. Horacio Eduino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Inocente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Horacio Eduino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Inocente, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 95th minute of the match, Esteve Paio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Edelmiro Clis was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
