The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 19 minutes, Isaias Kusko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bancalari's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaias Kusko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Baldomiro Suarez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bancalari's supporters rose to their feet, but Baldomiro Suarez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severino Oliveiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rd minute, Baldomiro Suarez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 37th minute Isaias Kusko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Oliveiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Isaias Kusko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baldomiro Suarez struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Severino Oliveiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bancalari. A collision led to Chaparro getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Erubiel Eladio hit a great ball. Benjamin Lordi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Hats having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Isaias Kusko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Miguel Batista kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Miguel Batista charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miguel Batista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 68th match minute, Chaparro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Batista to maneuver through the defense. Severino Oliveiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomiro Suarez in the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Baldomiro Suarez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Severino Oliveiro. The goal made the score 0-2. Severino Oliveiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baldomiro Suarez's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. The supporters of Bancalari booed when Chaparro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rosendo Libertad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baldomiro Suarez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isaias Kusko who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Severino Oliveiro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Enzo Lizar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the game, Bancalari's Isaias Kusko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Severino Oliveiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Baldomiro Suarez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Severino Oliveiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Severino Oliveiro came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Bancalari's Isaias Kusko. But to his dismay, Isaias Kusko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4.
