Lucas Shantala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Fresco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute Eduardo Fresco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Shantala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Eduardo Fresco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucas Shantala was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Santiago Caetano put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Lucas Shantala. After 23 played minutes Lafinur FC got a freekick which was hit by Andres Evangelista. In the 35th minute Eduardo Fresco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Shantala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Santiago Caetano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Cidampajao AFC's Santiago Caetano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucas Shantala narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lucas Shantala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Fresco, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Roberto Brion charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roberto Brion the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Lafinur FC booed when Cidampajao AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Brion didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carolo Regis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ciro Rafe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Montes in the 51st minute of the match. In the 52nd match minute, Cidampajao AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Liberto to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Cidampajao AFC's zone, Carolo Regis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciro Rafe came out of the goal and Carolo Regis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54th minute, Santiago Caetano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 56 minutes into the game, Bernabe Gabirel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cidampajao AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lafinur FC the free kick. The supporters of Lafinur FC booed when Cidampajao AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernabe Gabirel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute of the match Alberto Gonza sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ciro Rafe skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Caetano in the 61st minute of play forced Lafinur FC's goalkeeper Lucas Shantala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Lafinur FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Andres Evangelista hit a great ball. If Santiago Caetano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Lafinur FC's Lucas Shantala got control of the ball when Eduardo Fresco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eduardo Fresco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Lucas Shantala made a huge save. Santiago Caetano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucas Shantala made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eduardo Fresco in the 82nd minute. Carolo Regis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Rafe having to interfere. Santiago Caetano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Lucas Shantala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Lafinur FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Eduardo Fresco fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The Lafinur FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cidampajao AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
