An unexpectedly hard shot by Everardo Loramendi in the 37th minute of play forced Lagunilla FC's goalkeeper Rene Eleazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Lagunilla FC booed when Arroyito FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Gartzen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute of the match Lagunilla FC got a corner. Arroyito FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pedro Arias ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Lagunilla FC's Pedro Arias to fire away a dangerous shot which Inocencio Inguma despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Everardo Loramendi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Rene Eleazar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lagunilla FC's Zacarias Blasco got a free kick in the 48th minute. Ambrosio Furman, 49 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 56th minute of the match, Everardo Loramendi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rene Eleazar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Lagunilla FC's Rene Eleazar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Lagunilla FC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vladimiro Lia got free with Rene Eleazar in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Marcial Cisco came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Lagunilla FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcial Cisco couldn't finish the play. When Ubaldo Bernebe fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arroyito FC's protests and gave Ubaldo Bernebe a yellow card for diving instead. Ubaldo Bernebe kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Marcial Cisco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Fidel Etxahun came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Lagunilla FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fidel Etxahun couldn't finish the play. Pedro Arias was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 79th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Lagunilla FC's zone, Everardo Loramendi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rene Eleazar came out of the goal and Everardo Loramendi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th match minute, Arroyito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaias Amor to maneuver through the defense. Inocencio Inguma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidel Etxahun in the 97th minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
