After 3 minutes, Prudencio Tiadoro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Haumonia FC and the Punua FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 3 played minutes Haumonia FC got a freekick which was hit by Prudencio Tiadoro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Abarca in the 5th minute of play forced Haumonia FC's goalkeeper German Rivero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without German Rivero having to interfere. Prudencio Tiadoro got his second yellow card in the match during the 17th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 18th minute of the match Samuel Sasoin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but German Rivero showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Punua FC's Gabriel Cordarrol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliano Rozarius in the 24th minute of play. German Rivero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedicto Abarca in the 29th minute of the match. The supporters of Punua FC booed when Haumonia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureliano Rozarius didn't get a good kick on the ball. Haumonia FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Benedicto Abarca scored to the left of an out of position German Rivero, making the score, 1-0. In the 43rd minute there was a penalty for Haumonia FC. Jaime Arnas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gabriel Cordarrol. 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Benedicto Abarca made the kick off in the second half. Benedicto Abarca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without German Rivero having to interfere. Lucas Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Gabriel Cordarrol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Alberto Ler notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Punua FC's Gabriel Cordarrol. Gabriel Cordarrol was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 85 minutes into the match, Haumonia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Urbez came free, but German Rivero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 2-3 became the score in the 90th minute when Alberto Ler elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After having played for 95 minutes, Luis Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Punua FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Cruz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 96th minute Gilberto Urbez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but German Rivero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Punua FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Haumonia FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Haumonia FC.
