Dalmacio Admon started the match with the kick off. The referee gave Amapola AFC a penalty, 8 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Florentino Jerrold, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Horcones FC's Fidel Maxin. 0-1. 0-2 became the score in the 14th minute when Guillermo Mederi elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, Amapola AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmacio Admon came free, but Epifanio Santo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isidro Cheche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabian Walme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Epifanio Santo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 42 minutes, Guillermo Mederi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amapola AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillermo Mederi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th minute, Isidro Cheche fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 47th minute Guillermo Mederi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Maxin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guillermo Mederi was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Horcones FC's goalkeeper Fidel Maxin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fabian Walme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Maxin having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guillermo Mederi in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fidel Maxin saved Horcones FC from getting behind. Fidel Maxin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Mederi in the 61st minute of play. When Dalmacio Admon, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 79 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Epifanio Santo was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Fidel Maxin made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Guillermo Mederi sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Guillermo Mederi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fidel Maxin was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Horcones FC's Isidro Cheche got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isidro Cheche scored 5-2 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Epifanio Santo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that Horcones FC were the better team. Horcones FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
