When Leonardo Lorenz came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Moores FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonardo Lorenz couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Anzoátegui AFC booed when Moores FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeronimo Ler didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Nereo Chepe from long distance, 9 minutes into the match, got Joel Piarres's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Nemesio Hechter fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Moores FC's protests and gave Nemesio Hechter a yellow card for diving instead. After 19 played minutes Moores FC got a freekick which was hit by Laureano Onbera. With his leg Joel Piarres managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Anzoátegui AFC's Emilio Remir fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Emilio Remir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Joel Piarres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Israel Opilano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severo Canor, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Leonardo Lorenz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Israel Opilano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severo Canor in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Severo Canor made the kick off in the second half. Ciriaco Eudoxio's late challenge caught a Moores FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciriaco Eudoxio helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Anzoátegui AFC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Ciriaco Eudoxio hit a great ball. Severo Canor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Israel Opilano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Israel Opilano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severo Canor, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. If Leonardo Lorenz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diego Bernad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emilio Remir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joel Piarres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emilio Remir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Piarres having to interfere. The Moores FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Anzoátegui AFC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
