After having played for 14 minutes, Albino Austin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chorillo 's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albino Austin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 19th match minute, Tosquitas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristo Socorro to maneuver through the defense. Chorillo 's Albino Austin got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Albino Austin to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Tosquitas's goal looked a bit too open when Albino Austin came free, but Emiliano Jusepe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaudencio Ovando hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Tosquitas's zone, Vicente Galo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emiliano Jusepe came out of the goal and Vicente Galo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 94 minutes, Sixto Montel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tosquitas and the Chorillo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th match minute, Tosquitas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sixto Montel to maneuver through the defense. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Chorillo had played much better football throughout.
