After a defensive mix-up in Yala's zone, Sergio Emenon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anier Abecia came out of the goal and Sergio Emenon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Natalio Dunixi took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Anier Abecia to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Yoscaba AFC's Damaso Servando got a free kick in the 57th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Armando Hustaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yala's supporters rose to their feet, but Armando Hustaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fausto Itzaina breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fausto Itzaina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregorio Ekain, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Yoscaba AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
