Marcial Cordaro charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcial Cordaro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Palo AFC booed when Espigas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcial Cordaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th match minute, Espigas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Ferran to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute of the match Tiburcio Johans shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vicente Millrick showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Benigno Erroman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Americo Ibar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Alfonso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Millrick having to interfere. The supporters of Palo AFC booed when Espigas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Ferran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Alfonso struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Vicente Millrick didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palo AFC. In the 20th minute, Osvaldo Vellito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 21 played minutes Espigas FC got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Ferran. Benigno Erroman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Americo Ibar in the 25th minute of the match. Americo Ibar struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Benigno Erroman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Espigas FC. Vicente Millrick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Alfonso in the 37th minute of play. After 38 minutes, Alfredo Ferran mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Espigas FC and the Palo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 38th match minute, Espigas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Ferran to maneuver through the defense. After 41 minutes Espigas FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tiburcio Johans who took care of the corner kick. Faustino Louis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Palo AFC were awarded a corner in the 50th minute after Espigas FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tiburcio Johans took the corner.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristian Alfonso to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palo AFC's goalkeeper Benigno Erroman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Palo AFC's Faustino Louis got a free kick in the 59th minute. Tiburcio Johans kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 67thth minute of the game Cristian Alfonso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Espigas FC's Vicente Millrick was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Americo Ibar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Faustino Louis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vicente Millrick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Alfonso in the 88th minute of the match. Alfredo Laurendi's late challenge caught a Palo AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfredo Laurendi helped the player get up and apologised. When Alfredo Laurendi was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 94 minutes had been played. Espigas FC's Vicente Millrick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Alfonso in the 97th minute of play. 99 minutes into the match, Palo AFC's Cristian Alfonso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vicente Millrick narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
