Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Barranca AFC's Ernesto Reno started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lorenzo Cutberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Placido Tajo in the 4th minute of the match. Ernesto Reno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Camilo Honrio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Placido Tajo struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Lorenzo Cutberto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gahan AFC. When Edgardo Erruki came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Gahan AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgardo Erruki couldn't finish the play. Ernesto Reno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Camilo Honrio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Gahan AFC's goalkeeper Camilo Honrio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgard Gil. Ernesto Reno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Honrio having to interfere. Edgard Gil struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Camilo Honrio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barranca AFC. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgardo Erruki to make the kick off. Edgard Gil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Camilo Honrio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ruperto Tiniebra during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After recieving a nice pass, Barranca AFC's Ivan Enekoitz tried to score from far away in the 58th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to Gahan AFC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Ruperto Tiniebra hit a great ball. In the 65th minute, Edgard Gil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Camilo Honrio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 70th minute of the match Isidro Ascencio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lorenzo Cutberto skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 72 minutes, Ernesto Reno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barranca AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernesto Reno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Barranca AFC's Edgard Gil got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Placido Tajo charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Placido Tajo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Placido Tajo hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. The supporters of Gahan AFC booed when Barranca AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celso Llanos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute Ernesto Reno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Honrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 92 minutes, Orlando Filipo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barranca AFC and the Gahan AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Orlando Filipo was shown his second yellow card after 95 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Orlando Filipo hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Isidro Ascencio was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 96th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Barranca AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Gahan AFC for a fine match.
