After 5 minutes, Flavio Llorian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rivadavia AFC and the Krabbé players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Rivadavia AFC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Flavio Llorian hit a great ball. Mateo Mel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Raymundo having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Krabbé's Baldomero Luke sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Raymundo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Rivadavia AFC's zone, Mateo Mel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Raymundo came out of the goal and Mateo Mel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Danilo Calvino took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aurelio Maidana. Krabbé's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Isidro Fidencio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Benito Raymundo made a huge save. 22 minutes into the match, Baldomero Luke notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Rivadavia AFC's Benito Raymundo. Benito Raymundo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rivadavia AFC's Benito Raymundo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Rivadavia AFC from getting a goal against them. Mateo Mel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Raymundo having to interfere. Baldomero Luke charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Soin in the 30th minute of play forced Krabbé's goalkeeper Aurelio Maidana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Krabbé's Isidro Fidencio got a free kick in the 31st minute. 32 minutes into the match, Krabbé's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Chus came free, but Aurelio Maidana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hipolito Rutenio kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Baldomero Luke could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Benito Raymundo made a huge save. Baldomero Luke's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Benito Raymundo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Aurelio Maidana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio Soin in the 39th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Mateo Mel took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Benito Raymundo to make any attempt to save it. In the 47th match minute, Rivadavia AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Lope to maneuver through the defense. Baldomero Luke was shown his second yellow card after 48 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Baldomero Luke kicked well hit freekick during the 49th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mateo Mel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mateo Mel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Octavio Soin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Chus in the 64th minute of play forced Krabbé's goalkeeper Aurelio Maidana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Mateo Mel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isidro Fidencio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Benito Raymundo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hector Lope kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Mateo Mel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Raymundo. Rivadavia AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mateo Mel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Rivadavia AFC's Tomas Chus got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 86 minutes into the match, Krabbé's Mateo Mel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Raymundo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tomas Chus was extremely unlucky when he, in the 96th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 98 minutes into the match, Krabbé's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Chus came free, but Aurelio Maidana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Rivadavia AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Krabbé.
