The referee ignored Mackenna's protests and gave Valentin Cordera a yellow card for diving instead. Reta AFC's Sebastian Sotero couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 11th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mackenna. Maximiliano Belasko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Mateo Victoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Mackenna's Maximiliano Belasko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mateo Victoro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nemesio Mirande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Severino Corderall could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Matias Lauren made a huge save. Valentin Cordera hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Severino Corderall struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Matias Lauren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Reta AFC.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maximiliano Belasko was the one to do the kick off.
