With a little luck, Alcira FC's Fausto Galsino got control of the ball when Saul Guilabertus tried to sneak it across the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Alcira FC's Javier Iigo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Samuel Lluc made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Javier Iigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Tibalt in the 33rd minute of play forced Cabal FC's goalkeeper Samuel Lluc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fausto Galsino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saul Guilabertus in the 39th minute. Alcira FC's Ernesto Pudes suffered a sore thigh after 40 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Cipriano Weterio hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Javier Iigo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Bruno Onbera who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alcira FC's Fausto Galsino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cipriano Weterio got his second yellow card in the match during the 56th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 57th minute, Cipriano Weterio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Cabal FC's zone, Remigio Tino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Lluc came out of the goal and Remigio Tino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Saul Guilabertus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 66 minutes, Saul Guilabertus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cabal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saul Guilabertus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Saul Guilabertus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Galsino having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Saul Guilabertus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cabal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Saul Guilabertus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fausto Galsino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 90 played minutes Cabal FC got a freekick which was hit by Angelino Casado. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Alcira FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
