Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Pascanas's Gerardo Eriz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerardo Eriz in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bonifacio Luzaide prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Eriz in the 6th minute of play forced Paganini's goalkeeper Bonifacio Luzaide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Horacio Telesforo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paganini's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pascanas the free kick. 8 minutes into the game, one of Paganini:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 10th minute there was a penalty for Pascanas. Robustiano Carlomagno stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bonifacio Luzaide. 0-1. If Denis Ibañez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eulalio Oro in the 22nd minute of play forced Paganini's goalkeeper Bonifacio Luzaide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerardo Eriz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Gerardo Eriz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pascanas's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerardo Eriz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bonifacio Luzaide breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Eulalio Oro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bonifacio Luzaide was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. If Eulalio Oro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Primitivo Cuartio to make the kick off. Eulalio Oro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bonifacio Luzaide read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Paganini's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Robustiano Carlomagno was slow to take the kick. During this time Pascanas's players had a chance to rest. Robustiano Carlomagno made a great header on Pascanas's corner, it was just that Paganini's Bonifacio Luzaide managed to reach the ball for a save. Pascanas's Gerardo Eriz was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 57th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Bonifacio Luzaide was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bonifacio Luzaide made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eulalio Oro in the 84th minute. Denis Ibañez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isidoro Calvino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primitivo Cuartio in the 90th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Pascanas walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
