Ignacio Gonsalvo kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Rosendo Rumaldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eulalio Oro in the 13th minute. Pascanas's Isidoro Calvino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Gonsalvo in the 16th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Ignacio Gonsalvo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Isidoro Calvino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 23rd minute, Gerardo Eriz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rosendo Rumaldo. The goal made the score 1-1. Gerardo Eriz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rosendo Rumaldo having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angel Daunte during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Rivas AFC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Angel Daunte hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Rivas AFC's zone, Gerardo Eriz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rosendo Rumaldo came out of the goal and Gerardo Eriz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gerardo Eriz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gerardo Eriz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Rosendo Rumaldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Rivas AFC's zone, Gerardo Eriz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rosendo Rumaldo came out of the goal and Gerardo Eriz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rivas AFC's goalkeeper Rosendo Rumaldo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lorenzo Basajaun struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Isidoro Calvino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rivas AFC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lorenzo Basajaun got free with Isidoro Calvino in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Isidoro Calvino made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Lorenzo Basajaun sent off a good shot on target. When Angel Presebal fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rivas AFC's protests and gave Angel Presebal a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of Rivas AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pascanas:s goal. If Ignacio Gonsalvo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 90th minute, Eulalio Oro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eulalio Oro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eulalio Oro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosendo Rumaldo having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
