Timoteo Dalmau was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 4 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Calaza FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 3rd minute. Penalty! In the 12th match minute, Calaza FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ildefonso Larra to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Calaza FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Isaias Demesio hit a great ball. Marcos Arce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Moises Beturian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcos Arce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moises Beturian having to interfere. Cienaguita AFC's Angelo Cordeal got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amado Policarpio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Cienaguita AFC's zone, Esteve Sazon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casimiro Crescencio came out of the goal and Esteve Sazon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 39 played minutes Calaza FC got a freekick which was hit by Esteve Sazon. After a defensive mix-up in Cienaguita AFC's zone, Amado Policarpio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casimiro Crescencio came out of the goal and Amado Policarpio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Angelo Cordeal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rolando Figueroa during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rolando Figueroa hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Moises Beturian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Arce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Amado Policarpio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calaza FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Amado Policarpio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Casimiro Crescencio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. German Arias hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Angelo Cordeal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cienaguita AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Angelo Cordeal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moises Beturian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Calaza FC's Moises Beturian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Cordeal in the 79th minute of play. After 79 played minutes Calaza FC got a freekick which was hit by Esteve Sazon. Moises Beturian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Cordeal in the 83rd minute of the match. The supporters of Cienaguita AFC booed when Calaza FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaias Demesio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcos Arce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Moises Beturian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Marcos Arce got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cienaguita AFC had won after a very even match.
