Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Julio Chepe kicked off to start the match. Fausto Procopio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julio Chepe in the 5th minute of play. Juan Txanton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amancio Nataniel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Cavanagh's Carolo Argider, in the 17th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Cavanagh. Huacalera AFC's Juan Txanton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Nataniel in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to Huacalera AFC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Omar Ostargi hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the game, Carolo Argider cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Juan Txanton was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fausto Procopio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Chepe in the 25th minute of the match. When Enrique Rodas fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cavanagh's protests and gave Enrique Rodas a yellow card for diving instead. After 29 played minutes Cavanagh got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Rodas. Amancio Nataniel got in the 35th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Juan Txanton handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. The Cavanagh fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Cavanagh's Amancio Nataniel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Julio Chepe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Fausto Procopio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Julio Chepe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carolo Argider to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Amancio Nataniel fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Juan Txanton, passed just outside the right post. 58 minutes into the match, Cavanagh's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Chepe came free, but Fausto Procopio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cavanagh's Jacinto Elixio got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Delmar Gartzi was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 63rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After having played for 67 minutes, Amancio Nataniel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cavanagh's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amancio Nataniel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Carolo Argider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Julio Chepe came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Huacalera AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julio Chepe couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Huacalera AFC's Isidro Millan got a free kick in the 87th minute. If Amancio Nataniel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodoro Celino's late challenge caught a Huacalera AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodoro Celino helped the player get up and apologised. The Cavanagh supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cavanagh would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
