Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Pedro Hernandez got the match started through his kick off. After having played for 4 minutes, Jose Xabat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Silípica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jose Xabat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zacarias Telmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Javier Ferrer having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Silípica's Feliberto Fernendo got a free kick in the 11th minute. Filiberto Phelipe scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Javier Ferrer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Independencia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Pedro Hernandez scored to the left of an out of position Luisito Vela, making the score, 1-1. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Independencia's goalkeeper Luisito Vela, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Isidoro Matteo kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 25 minutes into the game, Independencia's Filiberto Phelipe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Javier Ferrer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The supporters of Silípica booed when Independencia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaac Quintin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Independencia's goalkeeper Luisito Vela had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Hernandez. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Silípica's goalkeeper Javier Ferrer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jose Xabat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Pedro Hernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zacarias Telmo to strike the kick off in the second half. Zacarias Telmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Javier Ferrer having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filiberto Phelipe got free with Javier Ferrer in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Filiberto Phelipe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Zacarias Telmo took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Javier Ferrer to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in Silípica's zone, Filiberto Phelipe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Javier Ferrer came out of the goal and Filiberto Phelipe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jose Xabat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Luisito Vela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Pedro Hernandez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luisito Vela. Independencia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Hernandez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Pedro Hernandez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Pedro Hernandez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luisito Vela. Independencia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Hernandez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. Zacarias Telmo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Javier Ferrer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Silípica had won after a very even match.
