Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Evaristo Guillerme started the match with the kick off. Lanús FC's Guillermo Quico got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aureliano Vidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Higinio Nofre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Aureliano Vidal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lavalle's supporters rose to their feet, but Aureliano Vidal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Higinio Nofre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 36 minutes of play, Lavalle's Victorino Tab made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Higinio Nofre was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aureliano Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Justino Galsino fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Aureliano Vidal took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Higinio Nofre. Higinio Nofre dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3.

Lanús FC's Guillermo Quico got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 56 minutes into the match, Lanús FC's goalkeeper Higinio Nofre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aureliano Vidal. Epifanio Buinton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillermo Quico, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 59 minutes into the game, Rafael Bertin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lavalle's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lanús FC the free kick. Rafael Bertin hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Alfonso Rioja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Nofre having to interfere. Aureliano Vidal received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Higinio Nofre came out and tried to block the shot, but Aureliano Vidal slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 65th minute. A hard shot by Alejandro Ostadar from long distance, 78 minutes into the match, got Higinio Nofre's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Alfonso Rioja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Nofre having to interfere. If Alfonso Rioja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aureliano Vidal got free with Higinio Nofre in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Rioja in the 89th minute of play forced Lanús FC's goalkeeper Higinio Nofre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Evaristo Guillerme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Epifanio Buinton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Guillerme, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Lavalle played a much better game than Lanús FC and deserved their victory. The Lanús FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
