Orlando Mundo came out of the goal and Aquilino Meder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Orlando Mundo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justino Ferrando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Libertad's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Celestino Petri fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Roman Rios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Lordi having to interfere. Aquilino Meder's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Orlando Mundo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Orlando Mundo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aquilino Meder went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 37 minutes into the match, Libertad's goalkeeper Cayetano Lordi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roman Rios. Candido Meder struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Orlando Mundo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Libertad.

Orlando Mundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquilino Meder, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Roman Rios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Cayetano Lordi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Justino Ferrando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 62nd minute Celestino Petri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Lordi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Justino Ferrando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 73 minutes, Eduardo Illan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Teodolina FC and the Libertad players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Teodolina FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Eduardo Illan hit a great ball. Orlando Mundo made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Justino Ferrando sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Libertad booed when Teodolina FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Escobar didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Aquilino Meder took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Orlando Mundo to make any attempt to save it. Aquilino Meder struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Orlando Mundo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Libertad.
