Tomas Napier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesus Xabier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardo Feliz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guido Frasco in the 9th minute. A collision led to Zaparinqui FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Reynaldo Bernebe hit a great ball. In the 13th minute, Eriberto Argider hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 19 minutes, Jesus Xabier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zaparinqui FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jesus Xabier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Loreto's Filiberto Txaran slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ricardo Feliz. That made the score 1-0 after 25 minutes of play. If Jesus Xabier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Loreto's Nunez Pepillo got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the game's 30th minute Zaparinqui FC's Eriberto Argider took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Tomas Napier and thus the score was 1-1. Jesus Xabier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomas Napier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Flavio Silvanito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Urbano Lalla kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Filiberto Txaran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filiberto Txaran made a kick off. Cirilo Orlandus might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomas Napier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cirilo Orlandus ran back to his position shaking his head. Jesus Xabier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Tomas Napier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Cirilo Orlandus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zaparinqui FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cirilo Orlandus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomas Napier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 65thth minute of the game Cirilo Orlandus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Loreto's Tomas Napier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ricardo Feliz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Columbo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Loreto's zone, Cirilo Orlandus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Napier came out of the goal and Cirilo Orlandus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd minute Reynaldo Bernebe suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 73 minutes, Flavio Silvanito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Loreto and the Zaparinqui FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Flavio Silvanito hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 79thth minute of the game Filiberto Txaran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zaparinqui FC's Ricardo Feliz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pedro Cibran charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Cibran the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 81st minute Filiberto Txaran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Feliz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Zaparinqui FC's zone, Leo Columbo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Feliz came out of the goal and Leo Columbo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Filiberto Txaran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute Zaparinqui FC were awarded a corner. Eriberto Argider went to the cornerflag to take it. Armando Francesco thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Tomas Napier, a very annoying self made goal in the 93rd minute which led to 1-3. Thanks to some nice moves Jesus Xabier could shoot a difficult shot in the 96th minute, which Tomas Napier however easily saved by the left post. Tomas Napier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jesus Xabier in the 98th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Zaparinqui FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
