The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Cristian Muc had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Reynaldo Maxin. Floresta FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Muc was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Reynaldo Maxin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Muc in the 11th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Elvio Arce managed to get in a good position for a shot. Floresta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elvio Arce was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rogelio Txaran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fulgencio Elia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Maxin having to interfere. Reynaldo Maxin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fulgencio Elia went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Elia in the 23rd minute of play forced Floresta FC's goalkeeper Reynaldo Maxin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elvio Arce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Txaran having to interfere. Baltasar Nazario hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Fulgencio Elia who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Reynaldo Maxin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Floresta FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Gustavo Min hit a great ball. If Fulgencio Elia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delmiro Pere kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Reynaldo Maxin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Muc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elvio Arce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Rogelio Txaran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute Eustacio Bras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Txaran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cayastá's goalkeeper Rogelio Txaran, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 76 played minutes, Floresta FC's Paulo Leizarraga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rogelio Txaran came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line.
