Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cayastá's Cristian Muc started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rogelio Txaran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Giro in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Cayastá's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Bastiaro came free, but Rogelio Txaran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Lordi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Muc in the 7th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Victorio Txema hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Faustino Giro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Rogelio Txaran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Ideazabal booed when Cayastá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Balendin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Fulgencio Elia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Lordi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustino Giro in the 39th minute of play forced Cayastá's goalkeeper Rogelio Txaran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Faustino Giro in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rogelio Txaran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafael Bastiaro to make the kick off.
