The referee showed Benigno Edur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aminga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zárate AFC the free kick. The referee gave Zárate AFC a penalty, 13 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Anselmo Distiratsu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Aminga's Zacarias Rico. 1-0. After some careless play in the Zárate AFC defense, Valentin Restu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victor Pirro. The Zárate AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victor Pirro should have stopped the shot. Paulo Ibon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Victor Pirro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valentin Restu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Zárate AFC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Feliberto Firman hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, Zárate AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Ibon came free, but Victor Pirro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Paulo Ibon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Victor Pirro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zacarias Rico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andres Aballe, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Valentin Restu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Pirro having to interfere. Zacarias Rico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andres Aballe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andres Aballe to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Aminga got a freekick which was hit by Elias Montrelle. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andres Aballe in the 57th minute of play forced Aminga's goalkeeper Zacarias Rico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ezequiel Lorien's late challenge caught a Zárate AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ezequiel Lorien helped the player get up and apologised. Ezequiel Lorien hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Andres Aballe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zacarias Rico was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. After 66 minutes of play, Zárate AFC's Andres Aballe made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zacarias Rico was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romulo Gerazan in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zacarias Rico saved Aminga from getting behind. Romulo Gerazan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 78th minute of the match Prospero Jerold completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Prospero Jerold a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Aminga getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Prospero Jerold hit a great ball. Anselmo Distiratsu, 80 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Zacarias Rico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andres Aballe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Feliberto Firman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 91 in the game by Valentin Restu from a close distance when the talented Victor Pirro managed to make a qualified save. Zárate AFC's players were relieved. After 93 played minutes Zárate AFC got a freekick which was hit by Feliberto Firman. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
