Quebrachitos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Moscovi AFC the free kick. Anier Fresco hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. 8 minutes into the match, Ernesto Gaizko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tomas Galeno. Quebrachitos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ernesto Gaizko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 13th match minute, Moscovi AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Blasco to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the match, Moscovi AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Atilano Gonzo came free, but Erubiel Pierres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match Ernesto Gaizko climbed in front of goal and pressed up 2-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Tomas Galeno. Moscovi AFC's Christian Dolfos got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anier Fresco was shown his second yellow card after 23 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Quebrachitos FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Anier Fresco hit a great ball. After having played for 26 minutes, Ernesto Gaizko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moscovi AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernesto Gaizko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29th minute Alberto Valery shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erubiel Pierres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Quebrachitos FC's goalkeeper Tomas Galeno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernesto Gaizko. When Ricardo Ederono fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quebrachitos FC's protests and gave Ricardo Ederono a yellow card for diving instead. After 32 played minutes Quebrachitos FC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Ederono. After 38 minutes, Christian Dolfos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Moscovi AFC and the Quebrachitos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Moscovi AFC's Christian Dolfos got a free kick in the 38th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ernesto Gaizko to strike the kick off in the second half. Moscovi AFC were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Quebrachitos FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Benigno Macerio took the corner. Maximino Maldonado thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Tomas Galeno, a very annoying self made goal in the 54th minute which led to 3-0. Alberto Valery fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erubiel Pierres having to interfere. During the 73rd minute of the match Ezequiel Blasco completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ezequiel Blasco a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Ezequiel Blasco hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Erubiel Pierres made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Atilano Gonzo sent off a good shot on target. Alberto Valery who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Erubiel Pierres when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 90 minutes, Alberto Valery managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quebrachitos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Valery was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Quebrachitos FC defense, Florencio Vito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomas Galeno. The Quebrachitos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomas Galeno should have stopped the shot.
