The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zeledon Sotero during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zeledon Sotero kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Francisco Ignado hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 10th match minute, Godoy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Placido Bartoli to maneuver through the defense. If Anselmo Weterio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anselmo Weterio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anselmo Weterio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustin Michael having to interfere. Ramon Medero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Hugo Naldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramon Medero took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hugo Naldo. Hugo Naldo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Francisco Ignado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Agustin Michael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agustin Michael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Weterio in the 30th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Anselmo Weterio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Agustin Michael was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Hugo Naldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Medero in the 41st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Weterio in the 94th minute of play forced Godoy's goalkeeper Agustin Michael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anselmo Weterio struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Agustin Michael didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Holmberg FC. The Godoy players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
